The following are the rules in place for engaging in Character to Character Trading.
- No Trading with Your Own Characters
You may only trade with characters that are played by other members. - No Temporary Trades
You may not only trade with another character, so that that you or he/she may either take part in a particular event/mission or have an advantage in a particular battle against someone else. If you wish to trade back, you must wait two weeks real time. - No Badgering Others to Trade With You
There are forms for requesting specific pokèmon to trade. If someone has the 'mon you want, you may inform them you have a trade request posted, and then that is it, unless they ask you for more details. - Establish Who Plays the Pokèmon and the History.
Unless you come to a specific agreement, the new owner of the pokèmon being traded becomes responsible for playing him/her. Similarly, unless the pair of you agree otherwise, the default explination -is - that your characters traded pokèmon. This means two things. One, the old owner of the pokèmon is giving up rights to say how the pokèmon should be handled or played. Two, the new owner is obligated to try to play the pokèmon in a manner that is consistent with what has been seen in that pokèmon thus far. It doesn't have to be perfect. - "Open" Requests Have the Right to Decline Offers.
Leaving requests 'open' allows other members to chime in on what pokèmon they have that they might be willing to trade/trade for. However, this doesn't mean that the original poster has to accept whatever pokèmon someone else has that they'll give up. The original poster is only obligated to politely decline offers they don't like. - Request that are not "Open" Are Subjected to First Come First Serve Rule
If you specify a pokèmon you want for the one you are trading, the first person that responds with a pokèmon that fits the criteria gets the trade. Please note, this is only for specific pokèmon, not for meeting preferences on an open trade. - Gifting
We currently do not allow for gifting, only trading. - Make sure to Use Forms When Appropriate
