The actual forest growing along the slopes. A great place for spotting all sorts of pokèmon, and relatively safe. The temperament of these pokèmon varies vastly, so keep an eye out for aggressive or temperamental pokèmon

No New Posts Winding Caverns

In the higher regions of the Northern Slopes entrances to the Winding Caverns. Cave dwelling pokèmon are plentiful in the dark reaches of the caverns, while many ground types enjoy areas closer to the entrances. If They can get to it, it's a good place for less experienced trainers to get comfortable underground as these underground passages are marked and fairly straightforward. With no pitfalls, risk of cave ins, or larger more dangerous underground pokèmon, it is clear why this area is approved for beginners.

Board Description
Northern Slopes
Along the sides of rising mountains a pine forest grows impossibly tall trees that love the always cool air, even in the summer. Many of the pokèmon here are thick furred and hardy, though some may head for warmer land when the frigid winter months arrive. Streams that run are small and fast, making some room for sleek water types, and plenty of food for hungry bear pokèmon. They tend to hide out here to hibernate in the winter, so students had best mind the holes they go sticking their noses in.
