Please please please please please! Kaida begged in Ketra's head, practically hanging on her hand as she tried to tend to a screaming Cleffa. Kaida rolled her eyes as she picked up the Cleffa and tried to comfort the baby pokemon. I said no, Ketra said. This still did not seem to appease the little Riolu. In many ways Ketra saw Kaida as less of a pokemon and more as toddler she had to swoop from self imposed danger. What was that her old boss had said? Something about what's not allowed is always the shiniest. That was certainly the truth for Kaida.
But, Tyrogue said it would be okay! He's been over the fence before and he says there's no wild pokemon and that it's actually fun! Kaida insisted. Ketra sighed trying more desperately to calm the Cleffa. It would be so much easier if it was her pokemon. Talking to it would calm pokemon down, but alas she had no voice but the one for her own pokemon. If you keep whining I'll put you back in the pokeball. The Cleffa screamed again and Ketra thought for a few seconds she might go deaf as well. Can you help me? What's wrong? I can't understand her.
Kaida went silence and looked away from Ketra guiltily. What did you do? Kaida gave a huff. She started it! She said she would tell on me and Tyrogue to the Kangaskhan if we went over the fence. I wasn't going to do it without you but... well Tyrogue called her a tattle tale and so she just kept screaming.
Ketra glared. Didn't I bring you here to make this eaiser?
That wasn't going to happen, said Niddy. Ketra looked at the snarky Nidoran. Be nice to your sister. In an aside telepathic whisper to him she said, But please keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't go over the fence. Run to me if she does. Niddy nodded dutifully and looked to Kaida. Kaida already saw this and growled, obviously understanding what transpired though she was not privy to the conversation. Look we'll go after my shift okay? Then you can explore all you want, but I can't take Tyrogue with me, Ketra said. She hated to crush Kaida's curiosity. Kaida looked like she would object on behalf of her new friend, but with a look from Ketra she decided to take what she could get. She grinned and barked a cheerful Thank you! Before bounding after to find Tyrogue. Kaida looked to Niddy. Still keep an eye on her. Just in case. Niddy nodded as he wandered over to where Kaida and Tyrogue was.

BRIEF HISTORY - Ketra was born mute. She learned to communicate with people by writing on her whiteboard and learning sign language. However it became obvious that she had no future as a pokemon trainer. Nonetheless, Ketra enjoyed being around pokemon and often volunteered at the Daycare Center. At 16, while taking care of a Riolu that hatched from an egg a trainer gave to the Daycare center, she discovered that she could communicate with pokemon via a telepathic bond. She bonded with the Riolu so much the Daycare gave the pokemon, and she started her journey as a pokemon trainer. She traveled for a little while and caught a male nidoran but then she discovered the pokemon academy and applied there for scholarship. She keeps a job nearby at a Daycare to help pay for the her living expenses.

POKEMON PERSONALITIES - Kaida is a curious pokemon, perhaps that what brought her closer to Ketra. Because of this Kaida is more prone to going into places she is not allowed. She hates being in the pokeball though Ketra will send her there to “ground” her. Niddy is more aloof. He is calm but quite protective of Ketra, perhaps another reason why she could catch him so easily. He prefers to sit on her lap while she studies.

APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION - Niddy’s coat is made of a dark purple with a few darker and grayish spots on his back and one on his shoulder. His spikes are largest at the middle of his back then get smaller in other directions. He is one foot and three inches and roughly twenty-two pounds, a bit heavier than most of his kind. Kaida has a blue coat light blue coat with eyes that are more pink than red. Her fists are also a dark jet black which color her the mask around her eyes, the ears, and her back legs.
