ABOUT YOU
The water splashed up and around Stephen as he came to the surface of the bay, water dripping from his long hair. Looking around, he smiled before he started swimming in the eastern direction, before bumping into a red floating object. Tapping the shell, a curly tail and circular head quickly popped out, the young Squirtle smiling and happy to see the boy.
"Hey you, what are you doing? You're out a little far, aren't you?" he said, giving the tiny turtle a look. Shaking his head furiously, the turtle flipped himself over and floated away from the boy, showing Stephen that he was absolutely fine with the water and the depth.
"Alright then. Come on, let's head back. Have you seen you seen Batista by any chance?" he asked, watching the turtle. Care-free, the turtle shook his head, which made the teenager frown. He hadn't seen the Buizel in a while now. Not that the weasel couldn't take care of himself, but Stephen's father had trusted him to watch these two. They were still young. An odd buzzing sound soon filled his ears, and when
he turned, the weasel was racing towards him.
<Hey, hey, watch out!> the Pokemon called, before barreling right into the teen, pushing him back and knocking him under. Stephen stayed under water for a few minutes, before he resurfaced.
"What did I tell you about watching where you were going when your tail was moving like that?" he said, his voice louder than normal. It wasn't exactly a yell, but the Pokemon needed to be disciplined for it.
The water type kept his eyes down, knowing he was in trouble, but said nothing.
Sighing, Stephen swam over to the fox, and put his arm around the weasel.
"People can get hurt when you swim like that. You understand, right?" he asked, and the Pokemon nodded.
"Good. Let's head back, I think it's lunch time. I'll race you guys!" he yelled, before swimming away. It took a moment or two, before the Pokemon realized what he had said and quickly swam after him, not wanting to lose to a human.

BRIEF HISTORY
Stephen is the son of a sailor, and as such, his father has moved around from region to region as the work became available. It was a hard life, and Logan learned from a young age that the only ones that you could count on were the Pokemon that lived with you. His father owned a Blastoise, and the large turtle made it his personal mission to protect the young master, and so Stephen formed a great relationship with the cannon beast. Stephen's father, whose name was Pepe, always insisted that the water type protect his son, as the sailor had other Pokemon that could protect him. Each boat job would last a few seasons, and then they would be off to the next one. Finally, Pepe decided that he wanted more for his son, and so he scrounged the money and was able to send him to this Academy, so that the boy could grow and learn among his peers, instead of learning the life of the sea.

POKEMON PERSONALITIES -
Oceania- Still a young Squirtle, barely out of the egg, Oceania is still quite quiet and clingy. She stays close to Stephen, except when they are in the water, because she is comfortable. On land though....she likes being carried more than anything. Hopefully, she becomes a little more self dependent as she gets older.
Batista- The total polar opposite. This little weasel is headstrong and adventurous, and needs to be disciplined often. He means well, he is just energetic. Fortunately, he is starting to learn from his unnecessary actions, and with Stephen's care, the Pokemon has come to respect him.
APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION -
Oceania is a little bit smaller than the normal height and weight averages for a Squirtle. It is believed that her egg didn't get quite as much warmth, which could possibly explain her size difference. Her shell is lighter than the red normally known to Squirtle and her tail is also a bit smaller.
Batista has a slightly redder tint to his fur than the normal orange color, and his neck sac is more of a gold than the yellow normally present on the Buizel species. He is pretty tall, about half a foot higher than expected, but the extra height pulls away from his weight and so he looks a little thin for his size. He is still quite strong though.
